I had such a fun time photographing this super sweet Kelowna family. It makes me so happy to think that the photos I take of families will be enjoyed and shared by them for decades to come. The power of photos to instantly bring you back to the happiness of a moment is a beautiful thing. It’s an honour to be a part of that. : )
Christine and Mike have been some of my dearest and most loyal clients for years. I first photographed their engagement session a few years ago and since then have photographed their wedding, as well as family sessions once little Lincoln came on the scene. Now, with Lincoln on his way to becoming a big brother and about to turn two years old, they decided to do a lifestyle session to capture this time in their lives. It’s always such a pleasure seeing these guys and capturing their beautiful love! It was especially neat to return to the room at Sparkling Hill Resort where Christine got ready for their wedding in 2013 which I also had the pleasure of photographing!

Carley, Graham and Margaux are one of my favourite little families to capture. I’ve been friends with Carley for 7 years and it’s been so wonderful photographing her big life moments along the way, from her wedding, to getting their adorable pup Charlie and each year Graham and her have had with Margaux. This little cutie is turning 2 in December! It never ceases to amaze me how fast time flies with kids, hence why it makes me extra happy to freeze some of these moments in photographs as they whiz past.
Margaux’s talented Grandma made her that amazing grey peacoat!
So cute – we tried to get a photo of Margaux in her adorable penguin Halloween costume that her grandma made her but she was getting tired and was not having it… even when her mini-me penguin stuffy was handed to her. Awww.
