Christine and Matt chose the stunning Bottega for their wedding in Kelowna. I LOVE the mix of modern and rustic at Bottega. It’s such a beautiful venue. Christine and Matt are such a fun pair and they and their wedding party had me and my lovely second shooter, Katie Nugent, cracking up all day. In the images below, you will definitely get an idea of some of the things that had us laughing. Fun times! We got to work with an awesome team of vendors as well, including the always hilarious and fun DJ Haymaker and the delicious food of Details Catering. Such a fantastic day! So happy for these two and their adorable daughter, Vivian.

When I first met Emily and Wes it was for their engagement session and they mentioned they might be awkward in the photos… they then proceeded to be so natural, connected and amazing to photograph! Not to mention they have a great sense of humour and are awesome people. Wes and Emily chose the beautiful Summerhill Pyramid Winery in Kelowna, BC. I love that Summerhill Pyramid Winery lets nature be nature on the property. It’s beautifully groomed in all the right places but there is still plenty of nature that is allowed to be itself which is wonderful for photos.
Wes has Filipino heritage and Emily has Chinese heritage so it was really cool seeing the different traditions of the two cultures weaving together throughout the day. It was my first time seeing a Chinese Tea Ceremony and I loved the beautiful red attire that Emily and Wes wore for that. Emily had 3 dresses that she wore throughout the day and that was such a neat element! I was grateful to the wonderful Katie Nugent for her talent, second-shooting and assisting for me. All the other vendors did such a fantastic job as well! So much creativity and amazing skills. They all put so much heart and care into what they do and it’s wonderful working alongside them.
It was such a fantastic day and I’m so happy for Emily and Wes!

I was soooo excited when I saw the Little Creek Farms property. It’s always fun shooting at a new place and Little Creek Farm is brimming with fantastic spots for photos. So much character and charm! I only shot in a fraction of the possible spots for photos so I hope Little Creek Farm opens its doors to more weddings so I can be reunited with this location and be click-happy once again here. If you’re not familiar with Little Creek Farm, they are behind the drool-worthy salad dressings made in the Okanagan. BEST vegan Caesar salad dressing ever – you seriously need to all go to Nature’s Fare and pick up a bottle now.
Julie and Dan are so sweet and fun and I loved all the fun touches they put into the decor and styling. Best styled groomsmen ever!
Every moment of the day was fantastic – I was floating on a photo-heaven cloud all day. The lovely Rebecca Siewert second shot for me and did such a great job.
I’m so happy for these two. They had so much love surrounding their wedding and you can be sure it was a day that will go down in the memory books for all their guests.

A cute hug from Julie’s sister before leaving them alone for their first-look. This shovel (and all the amazing metal work items on the property) are done by the owner’s daughter, Amber Denison. I was in love with them all, especially the blue wheelbarrow you’ll see further down. Sister tattoos! It was pretty touching how close these two are. Reminded me of my sis and I who is my bestie too. The archway behind them is so lovely. It’s a real, living tree that was trained into a heart. I absolutely loved some of the creative decor touches. To find your seat, you took the mason-jar glass with your name and an animal on it and matched your table with the correlating animal center-piece. So. Rad. Another awesome idea!! Deeeelicious vegan buffet.
