These two couldn’t have had more beautiful weather for their wedding at Summerhill Pyramid Winery in Kelowna. That is one of the things I love most about September weddings – it’s still warm but not scorching. This was such a fun and adventurous couple. They are up for anything and this provided me with plenty of great photo opportunities during the reception, especially. Stage Right Etc did a beautiful job on the decor. The room looked classy and elegant. As a photographer who loves to shoot with natural light as much as possible, I always appreciate that Stage Right gives me lovely ambient light  to work with – in this case, with the chandeliers and candles. The dinner was delicious, as it always is at Summerhill Pyramid Winery. It was a very lively and entertaining evening!

Instead of glass-tinking to get the couple to kiss, guests had to kiss in an interesting way that the star couple then had to reenact. The guests were quite imaginative to say the least! haha.The best man incorporated a game of Twister into his speech. DJ, Dwayne Mollin, had the bride sit on a guy-friend’s lap with her dress over his legs to fool her groom into thinking he was taking the garter off her leg. It was a pretty funny moment when his blindfolded face met a manly, hairy leg instead of his wife’s.
