Jen and Ryan were such a fantastic couple to photograph They both have great hearts and their personalities totally compliment each other. They have such a great first-meet story too! Check out their engagement shoot post for that story! I also loved that Jen kept telling everyone leading up to the wedding, “Look at Jessica’s camera! Ignore the rest!” haha- I didn’t even have to say a word! It’s great when you have a client jumps in to help you in little ways like that to get the best shots possible. : )

Jen and Ryan got married at Guisachan House, here, in Kelowna. Lot’s of their guests came all the way from Ireland, including Ryan’s parents! There were lot’s of happy tears, and laughs to be had throughout the whole night and I’m so happy for these two. They just built their first house in Calgary and have two adorable dogs. Big congrats guys!

One of the groomsmen yelled “Tie Traaaaaiiinnnn!” hahaha

The far right groomsman’s expression is so priceless. : D I had to stop taking photos for a sec because I was laughing so hard.

Erin and Doug got married at Kopje Regional Park in Winfield and it was such a cute spot by the lake. The surrounding area is so beautiful. Erin is a teacher and it turned out that she teaches one of the grandchildren of the owners of Grey Monk Winery so she spoke with them and they were nice enough to let us take the wedding party shots on the property and even in their wine library. Fun times! The weather was beautiful and not too roasting and I had such a great time with this couple and their fun wedding party and guests as well.

I had the pleasure of photographing these two for their engagement shoot last fall as well!

Courtenay and Dustin had such a beautiful wedding and everything flowed so seamlessly from start to finish. Did I mention they also had the most puuuurrrrfect light all day as well? Dustin is a budding photographer himself so he knew how awesome it was that we had cloud coverage for photos. Don’t be afraid of clouds people! They are your friend and will give you beautiful even light (squinting and harsh shadows be gone!). Courtenay and Dustin were stylin with their magenta and navy blue theme. Just look at those gorgeous shoes below! So purdy. I loved that her dress had pockets as well. They gave it a fun look and there is so much room under those dresses- you might as well utilize the space and have a couple of pockets for tissues and lipstick right?

I always seem to luck out with such great, fun couples I swear (knock on wood)! Courtenay and Dustin are two peas in a pod!! They’re both really smart, fun, and ambitious. They’re not the type of people that stand aside as life goes idly by. They take life by the horns and make things happen! The wedding party was a blast as well and had such great attitudes (thanks guys!).

The reception was really nicely decorated and dinner was delicious. Before I knew it- it was time to go! Such a fun wedding- thanks again for letting me a part of your big days you two!
